Queen B’s Decree: It’s no surprise by now that I love an obsessive MMC. And wow, Cristiano is obsessed with Mina. I love that his devotion to her was so constant. They’d been friends when they were young and Cristiano’s love for Mina evolved over time…and yeah it was a little much but in the […]
Queen B’s Decree: Married to the Mafia did not take itself too seriously and that’s what made it such a fun time. Daisy stumbles upon a dead bride while working at a wedding, and the groom needs to be married for mafia reasons (just go with it) so he picks her to be his new […]
Queen B’s Decree: I was pretty excited for this one since the moment I met them in book one; I love a taboo romance. Lucy and Damiano meet as children, and after a traumatic event, pose as siblings to stay together when they are later adopted by a mean mafioso family. Damiano is raised to […]
Queen B’s Decree: Sullivan was such a satisfying listen. Just a little bit morally grey with a bit of suspense. Sullivan and Autumn both end up at Sullivan’s remote cabin during a storm…and guess what? There is maybe only one bed wink wink. Is it a bit instalovey? Yes, but that’s what I wanted!! I […]
Queen B’s Decree: One of the things that makes me feral about Lilith Vincent’s books is how over the top her MMCs are. Possessive, protective, obsessive, all of the -ives. And no matter what, they can’t help but be sweet to their women. Adora and Vincenzo have both had some troubled pasts. Adora has been […]
Queen B’s Decree: After the cliffhanger ending of The Lost Kings, I was ready to see how the story would unfold. Kingston and Gio are broken boys after last book, and the revenge-lover in me enjoyed them being all ghosty and melancholic and “I’ll build her a farmhouse with my bare hands.” While I love […]
Queen B’s Decree: I don’t know what I expected from this book, but it was not what I got. A heavy mafia theme, but it felt so strange that Presley’s parents were basically missing for most of the book. She’s essentially turned into this little mafia heir by her great-uncle who I can’t make heads […]
Queen B’s Decree: I love how grumpy Mary is. She really takes her mafia enforcer job protecting her family so seriously (in fact maybe too much). So she suggests a marriage of convenience to Maxim, combining their Italian and Russian families as a way to provide more protection to the family she adores. But of […]
Queen B’s Decree: I read Broken Beta within a single day—I couldn’t put it down. Luscinia is the Deaf Beta daughter of the Italian Mafia Don…the evil and demanding mafia don. Long story short, she goes through hell in order to get her pack. I loved watching her pack evolve. How each of her men […]
Queen B’s Decree: Not gonna lie, I read this whole book in one evening. I just could not put it down. Loren and Cal were in love as teenagers, despite being from rival mafia families—at least until Cal broke her heart. Loren only comes to him for help when she has no other options, and […]
