Queen B’s Decree: After the cliffhanger ending of The Lost Kings, I was ready to see how the story would unfold.
Kingston and Gio are broken boys after last book, and the revenge-lover in me enjoyed them being all ghosty and melancholic and “I’ll build her a farmhouse with my bare hands.” While I love how ride or die they are for Presley (and frankly, her for them) their dynamic definitely doesn’t feel healthy.
I’m shocked to be saying this, but the usurper Adrian, ended up being my favorite character.
The resolution of the bad guy at the end was kind of wild, and yet, not wild enough? I wanted more “destroy the world” from Presley, but at the end of the day, glad she got to have her happily ever after.
The Rake Forge Royals was such a wild ride and wow, couldn’t put those books down.
