Queen B’s Decree: I wasn’t sure I was on board with this one at the very beginning. A rake who plans to continue being a rake after marriage (even if the marriage is unwanted), not really my thing.
But I was soon convinced. Alexander is the best kind of down bad. The kind that tries to continue living his normal life but finds himself unable to, all he does is think about his wife. But don’t tell him he’s in love, he’d deny it.
Harriet is so curious about life, and Alexander is the perfect person to teach her. He encourages her to learn all the naughty slang, learn her own body. The steam is steaming in this one.
I loved their banter, even the third-act misunderstanding couldn’t detract from my enjoyment. I loved this one and I’m so ready for the rest of the sisters to get their stories.
