Queen B’s Decree: I know I said the last book in this series, Every Shattered Notes, was my favorite. But I was wrong, my favorite is Never After Us. There was just so many things that worked: The romance is definitely a slow burn but in the best way. Mara and Alec grow such a […]
Queen B’s Decree: I got sucked into Every Shattered Note. Dex has been part of the music scene his whole life, being born into a record label, part of a giant band, and he’s no stranger to the tabloids. So when Aly confuses him with the guitarist she’s hired for the wedding she’s planned, he […]
Queen B’s Decree: I first met Fish and Alessandra when I binge-listened to the Reed Rivers Trilogy and I knew I was gonna love them. Smitten is a bit cheesy, but that’s kind of what I love about it. There’s no major conflict or angst, just wholesome sweetness and adoration. It was such a wonderfully fluffy […]
Queen B’s Decree: I remember Caleb (aka C-Bomb) from the Reed Rivers Trilogy as the bad boy/hot mess drummer of a famous and popular rock band. So I wondered how he would turn into a likable character. And you know what? Caleb is still basically a hot mess. But that’s the beauty of this book. […]
Queen B’s Decree: If you’re a Swiftie like me, you’ve probably been following the story of Taylor’s and Travis’s romance. Your Play to Call is what I basically hope it would be. Willow is our musical FMC, playing the half-time show at the Super Bowl. There she meets MVP Tripp, when he helps her avoid […]
Queen B’s Decree: Till There Was You had potential, but I didn’t really vibe with it. Lexi and Jake meet one night at a dive bar where Jake is performing, and they spend one wonderful weekend together. Soon after Jake travels to LA where he is discovered and overnight, he’s a big star. And then […]
Queen B’s Decree: I usually avoid the second chance romance trope, but I was feeling like I needed some angst. Tell it to My Heart soothed that itch. It was basically everything I want from a Siobhan Davis novel: Before I knew it, I had finished Tell it to My Heart in one sitting. Another […]
Queen B’s Decree: Just What I Needed was a short, little foray into some side characters of the Stage Dive series (one of my favorite series ever!). Jude is the nanny for characters from book one Lick, and Dean is a music producer we also briefly met in book three, Lead. They end up staying […]
Queen B’s Decree: I enjoyed being back in the world of Dillon and Viv, this time years later when their boys are teens. Hold Me Close is less of a romance and more of an extended epilogue. We already knew Dillon and Viv were going to live happily ever after, but I always want to […]
Queen B’s Decree: I’ve been meaning to read this duet for a “Real” long time (lol, I make me chuckle) so I decided to finally just do it. And I started Real Dirty…and immediately read Real Sexy thereafter. In one day. The Real Dirty Duet was just fun to read. Boone is a country music […]
