Queen B’s Decree: It’s been a hot minute since we last encountered H3RO in Idol Threats, so I had to refresh my memory with my last review. In Idol Threats, I wrote that it felt like a filler book. A little smidge of deja vu, but I felt the same way with Idol Reputation. The […]
Queen B’s Decree: Idol Threats continues the story of Holly and the K-Pop band she (previously) managed. It’s the original pairing before the Onyx series, so it was nice to revisit the crew. Idol Threats felt a little bit like a filler book. The men are continuing to promote their band H3RO while Holly is […]
Queen B’s Decree: I’m having a hard time categorizing this as a romance, as Somehow Finding Us felt more like a journey about personal growth and acceptance. It’s definitely a slow burn, which was a major change from Pieces of Us. Both Ethan and Zeke are separately working on healing and to do that, they […]
Queen B’s Decree: Brianna Hale always takes kink and turns it into something I can happily and easily read. Rush is an arrogant, confidant, and hot rock star who hasn’t had anyone say no to him in a long time. So when he tracks down Dree to be his choreographer, she’s had a traumatic experience […]
Queen B’s Decree: Pieces of Us felt less like a romance and more like a coming of age story. I was surprised by how much of the story happened while Zeke and Ethan were teenagers. They first meet when the Deckers and the Hades clans find them and push them together. Which is my first […]
Queen B’s Decree: Lead Player started out hot. Alaina has had some bad luck in relationships, so she’s just looking for one hot night. And behold, she meets Enzo. But both give fake names; Alaina because she wants this to be one night only, and Enzo because he’s trying to hide his fame. You see….Enzo […]
Coming August 13th! Add to Goodreads and check out the giveaway! I wasn’t looking for love… more like a one-night stand. Hey, a woman has needs. And it couldn’t possibly end any worse than my last relationship. If catching my long-term boyfriend getting plowed by his handsome best friend wasn’t bad enough… the fact that […]
Queen B’s Decree: Forever begins not long after the crazy cliffhanger in Unity. Kate is now pregnant and her poly relationship with the members of Onyx is constantly evolving and adapting. The heat is turned up a notch in Forever, with some moments of M/M thrown in for good measure. The writing keeps you hooked […]
Queen B’s Decree: Unity begins right after our cliffhanger ending from Love (the car crash if you recall!). Kate and her K-Pop men continue to try to navigate poly relationships while being part of the public eye while they continue to tour. Unity felt like a whirlwind. It flew by so quickly and so many […]
Queen B’s Decree: Jersey Six was such an interesting premise. Homeless woman meets homeless burn victim with amnesia who has vague memories of who caused the death of her foster parents (and her future dreams) Sign me up for that madness. And what madness it was. Jersey Six (our homeless woman) was such a dichotomy […]
