Queen B’s Decree: This is the second in the series, and it continues the story of Opal, her two soulmates, and the other fae involved in their little community.
I really enjoyed the angst of Opal dealing with Farris and Edmyn; both of her men are so different and I can understand the struggles they are going through with sharing their person. The back and forth kept me on the edge of my seat—were they gonna get along??? Was a HEA possible?
The plot of the magical world progresses and now we get to meet dragons. I loved the dragons, so much life and personality!
I will say that there is a side character and some of her actions in this book made her really, REALLY, unlikable. While I can have some empathy and understand her viewpoint, I still don’t really forgive her actions.
Regardless, Shaedes of Fire gave me all the feels—humor, angst, grief, anger, happiness; and I am ready for more.
