Queen B’s Decree: The Situation was mostly light hearted and fun. And even though this is the fifth in a series, I jumped in and read it as a standalone and I felt right at home.
Tate is the baby of the family and is smitten the moment he meets Aurora on a plane. Despite their age gap (she’s 13 years older) he is down bad and convinces her to spend time with him while they are both out of town.
I loved how Aurora was so sure of wanting to heal and grow from her past relationships. And Tate was a bit of a spoiled brat—not sure he’s ever heard the word no before. You’d think that personality trait would annoy me, but no. He’s adorable and just wants to shout out his love from the top of a mountain. You can’t stay mad at him.
I felt like their emotional relationship progression was a bit at warped speed, and I wish it had been fleshed out a little more. Regardless, The Situation was such a fun and enjoyable read and it makes me want to read the previous in the series.
