Queen B’s Decree: Say It Isn’t Snow got me all ready for winter. Holly and her best friend’s brother, Caleb, had a fling one summer seven years ago before a miscommunication tore them apart. Now they’re both trapped in the same winter cabin during a snowstorm…and Caleb thinks he’s been given a second chance. This […]
Queen B’s Decree: I’m gonna be totally honest, this book is kind of wild. If there were sharks, we’d jump them while waterskiing. But I really dug it. Tristan is crazily obsessed with his foster sister, Winter. And she’s 100% down with it. There’s a lot of wild stuff that goes down (a little schmurder, […]
Queen B’s Decree: Playing for the Hat Trick might be my favorite of this series. It had the right mix of banter, emotional growth, just enough of the forbidden trope to keep it spicy, and last but not least—the best sport, hockey. Jason and Scottie had so much chemistry, their spicy scenes were fire. But […]
Queen B’s Decree: I just can’t resist a hockey romance, no matter what. Lainey has had a crush on Bash since she was a kid, but when he turned her down for prom (tbh as he should have, he was 21!) she was crushed and vowed to never let him hurt her again. They become […]
Queen B’s Decree: I knew I was gonna like this one when we immediately meet Sabrina, a runaway bride, who discovered her groom was cheating on the day of her wedding. And of course the man she runs into is one of her skating student’s father, Tyler. Oh yesssss, give me all the sexual tension. […]
Queen B’s Decree: Zack is Courtney’s brother’s best friend, but they haven’t interacted much in the past few years. But when they are within each other’s orbit again, sparks fly. Both characters are parents (Zack in a wonderful coparenting arrangement, and Courtney a single mom) and I really love how they prioritize their kids. Yes, […]
Queen B’s Decree: The Girlfriend Zone was a pretty satisfying read. With tropes like an age gap, forced proximity, forbidden romance, coach’s daughter…how can I resist? Miles and Leighton together just worked. They had amazing chemistry and were both so supportive of each other. While there was definitely a bit too much will they/won’t they, […]
Queen B’s Decree: I loved the first two books in the Campus Diaries series, and the snippets of Will and Beckett in the previous books just made me feral for The Charlie Method. And I feel let down. Charlie struggles with her identity the entire book, and she doesn’t let the guys in emotionally until […]
Queen B’s Decree: Faking The Shot had a few of my favorite tropes: fake dating, grumpy x sunshine, hockey. Kaden is a great grump. He’s so focused on hockey, and he suffers from anxiety, so he does what he can to protect himself and shuts out everyone but the game. Even his teammates. So after […]
Queen B’s Decree: The Last Guy On Earth is a second chance trope, so I was anxious while starting. Was there a big miscommunication? A dumb mistake? Thankfully this one felt natural. Jethro and Clay were 22 and 24 respectively when they last met, and their break-up was really just them both being young, dumb, […]
