Queen B’s Decree: Zack is Courtney’s brother’s best friend, but they haven’t interacted much in the past few years. But when they are within each other’s orbit again, sparks fly.
Both characters are parents (Zack in a wonderful coparenting arrangement, and Courtney a single mom) and I really love how they prioritize their kids. Yes, this is a romance book, and realities sometimes intrude, but both characters don’t move forward until they’ve assessed how this will affect their boys. ADORABLE.
This is just a cute and easy read. Minimal angst, the right mix of emotional connection and steam, fun side characters. A great read while watching the Stanley Cup playoffs!
