Queen B’s Decree: Must Love Scones and Secrets was adorable. It felt like eating a warm chocolate chip cookie right out of the oven.
I loved the magical details about all the characters. Rosalyn’s wings; her caticorn’s zoomies, Bjorn’s glowing runes, his firewall’s propensity to char socks. It was just enough world building and magic to make it feel fantastical and mystical, while still allowing the characters to shine.
It’s a bit instalovey but that’s kind of my jam. Speaking of jam…Rosalyn would make a mean magical jam.
I basically read this in one sitting and I wish I had some more to binge. I’ve already got my eye on a farmer 👀
