Queen B’s Decree: I knew I was gonna like this one when we immediately meet Sabrina, a runaway bride, who discovered her groom was cheating on the day of her wedding. And of course the man she runs into is one of her skating student’s father, Tyler. Oh yesssss, give me all the sexual tension.
Tyler was down bad. He’d been smitten with Sabrina (on the down low!) since before her breakup, but he never pushes or takes advantage, even after she becomes his kids’ nanny. And he’s such a great dad, he made me swoon. And with Teddy Hamilton as his narrator (in duet form!!!), I can’t think of anything much better.
The relationship Sabrina has with Tyler’s kids was one of my favorite parts of this story. It was so heartwarming and wholesome—a perfect foil to the spicy and dirty things Tyler does.
The third act break-up/conflict was quickly fixed with communication, and overall, this was a fun and steamy story!
