Queen B’s Decree: I’m clearly obsessed with this series. I had always wanted to see how Gage became the rude, woman hater he was in Burning Ivy, and Charring Bones is a story about his past and his future.
Yes, that means this is a second chance trope. Are there miscommunications about their shared past that both Gage and Ainsley need to reveal and learn from? Yes. Do I still get sad about their forced time apart? Yes, but read it anyway.
I just couldn’t stop listening. Jacob Morgan and Samantha Brentmoor crushed it. Ainsley is such a strong FMC and badass, Samantha just really brought her to life.
Charring Bones is kind of the conclusion to the KORT story, but Brandy Hynes is releasing a new series about all the Noire brothers, so I just pray we’re gonna have some cameos. I’m not ready to say goodbye to these characters.
