Hawke and Ivy had a one night stand in the past but Ivy has a one and done policy…so they just keep hovering around each other. So while they are in the “not a couple so there are no ties but they are attracted to each other” phase, Hawke has plenty of fun with other women—some on the page. And I thought I’d hate that.
But just like Ivy…it worked for me.
Hawke ended up being so much more than a fuck boy. Hidden between his crazy mafia boy exterior, he’s a sweet, caring, golden retriever that basically fell for Ivy immediately. And Ivy fully accepted all his sides, even the darkest of the dark.
So much delicious push and pull, wonderfully spicy sex scenes, just that bit of darkness I love; this has become my new favorite of the series!
