Queen B’s Decree: This one was a cute and cozy start to a series.
Nigel is an ex-dark sorcerer, trying to live a quiet life after defeating the big baddie. He just wants to have a flower shop that honors his father, especially now that sorcery is banned. In walks in Luna, a green witch down on her luck, and his immediate response is to offer her a job, just to keep her near.
What follows are some funny hijinks that also touch on a some deeper topics, such as grief, persecution, and loneliness.
This is the first in the series, so this one is a slow burn so far, but I’m hoping we get to more relationship development as the series continues.
Also, I do believe I’d love a cup of tea.
