Thea and Fred have been married for the past two decades and have written a murder mystery book series the same amount of time. But their marriage isn’t doing so well, and Thea wants out—both the relationship and book series. And they’re back where the first book was written…when people start dying in the same order as the characters in the first book.
I felt like I was figuring out everything the same time as Thea. Feeling the same suspicion, not knowing who could be trusted. Feeling the same hurt and betrayal from Fred.
I never was able to guess the murderer and I was hooked from start to finish. Plus, it was kind of funny—the accurate representation of a book fandom and influencers. I’ll be looking for more from this author!
