Queen B’s Decree: Declan reminded me of my husband a bit—the way he got on Penny’s nerves was so accurate. Like there is nothing that can annoy you more than someone you love pushing all your buttons. Ahhhh true love and bliss and all that.
The spice between them was so well done. And despite Penny not seeing it, it was so obvious how down bad Declan was for her. So yeah, him “offering” to be her sexual tutor was basically like him winning the lottery. And listening to this one on audio, Aiden Snow crooning in my ear about Penelope being a good girl—phew I need a glass of water.
But like always, what I love in Brighton Walsh’s stories are the combination of humor, a found family full of support, steam, and real emotional connection. And I love we’re gonna get another story in this series, because I wasn’t ready for it to end. Brighton has cemented herself as an auto-buy author for me.
