Queen B’s Decree: Like the rest of the series, Reborn was a wild ride.
We start back right where Reclaimed ended, Mera back in Torma with gaps in her memories and she knows something is going on. I love how determined our girl is to figure out the truth and find out what her heart has been yearning for, because lord knows it isn’t her supposed “mate.”
Once Mera and her crazy shifter mate, Shadow, are together again, there’s tons of smut, emotional reunions, war planning, and magical fighting. It feels a bit unbelievable and over the top, and I felt like I was on the edge of my seat (just 🙏🏻 a beloved character doesn’t die) hoping it would all work out.
Overall, this series has been super satisfying and fun, with the typical Jaymin Eve panache, and I absolutely going to be continuing on with the spin off books.
