Queen B’s Decree: This entire series has been a wild ride, from start to finish.
So much happened in this third book—crossing realms, war, dragons, death, true emotional connections. I felt for our characters, it was like none of them could ever catch a break. As soon as one roadblock was eliminated, something else would pop up. And I was like…dang, college-aged me could never handle all this, so kudos to them.
I loved the devotion between Daniel and Cate, it absolutely was one of my favorite parts of this series!
While I enjoyed the final in the trilogy, I did feel like pacing was a bit off. The second half of the story flew by and I wished for a little more depth regarding certain issues/resolutions. But nonetheless, The Crowned was still a good conclusion to an enjoyable trilogy.
