Queen B’s Decree: I got sucked into this one, I couldn’t put it down.
Solar gets recruited to be the first witch in training in ages, and she then joins a band of wizards, all training under the same teacher. I enjoyed the interactions between Solar and her fellow students; how she was a bit of the outcast at the beginning but they soon became a supportive found family.
The magical world was interesting and I loved the mystery going on. The action was wild and I was so invested in them solving the problems. There was a smidge of a romance and it was my favorite kind: enemies-to-lovers. Once they got together, it was so adorable and heartwarming.
Overall, this was an interesting and satisfying read and I’m ready for the next!
