Queen B’s Decree: The weather is starting to cool off here, so I am firmly in my witchy romcom era.
Darcy is the sunshiney daughter of the town’s decorating committee, teaching at her parents’ painting shop, while she secretly longs to leave Fableview. Anya is the broody, shy witch, who has bounced from family member to family member, attempting to hone her magic. And of course both of them have crushes on the other…without them knowing. But one little white lie Anya told her parents means she has to get over her shyness and actually talk to Darcy. And of course once they do, they quickly fall into a friendship (and maybe more?!?).
This one was just adorable and sweet. I loved how both of them supported the other, and that Darcy’s BFF Grace is essentially the friend we all wish we could have. Great side characters, with good bisexual representation, and just the right amount of romance. I’ll happily read more from this author.
