Read. Reign. Repeat.

Zomromcom by Olivia Dade

Queen B’s Decree: Zomromcom was like watching a Simon Pegg and Nick Frost movie. Ridiculous, over the top, hilarious, and yet still somehow heartwarming.

Edie and Max’s witty banter kills me. It starts off with a lot of bickering (very enemies-to-lovers vibe) and transitions to more gentle and loving teasing before the spice gets spicing. Side note: I will never be able to sing the Gaston song without thinking of this book ever again.

The audio was the best way to listen to this. Joy Nash is the single narrator and you don’t even miss having a duet. Her inflections and intonation gave so much life to Edie and Max. His French accent was le magnifique. And frankly, just writing this review makes me want to reread, it was that good.

And I have an inkling of who will be the next book’s FMC and I want it.
