Queen B’s Decree: You may remember my review for The Ever King last month, basically just me gushing about how I couldn’t stop reading. Well get ready for some more. I was sucked into the conclusion of the duet. We ended the first book with Livia and Erik separated after suffering a massive betrayal. I […]
Queen B’s Decree: I got a little bit of Roxi and Memnon’s story in Bewitched and Bespelled, but getting the full story explains so much. The story is a little slow at the beginning, before Roxi and Memnon meet in person. These two soulmates are psychically linked since childhood, but it’s not until Roxi is […]
Queen B’s Decree: Workaholic Noelle impulsively stops at a food market and orders dumplings from a cash-only stand where the old woman selling them claims they will give Noelle exactly what she needs. What she ends up doing is reliving the same day over and over again, stuck in a time loop. While there is […]
Queen B’s Decree: My Begrudging Scent Matches features an extremely stubborn and willful omega, Alice. And man, I freaking love that. Not to be all “not like other girls” but she kinda is unlike other omegas I’ve read about. Hides her designation, wants to have a job, is very anti-pack and settling down; all the […]
Queen B’s Decree: Bewitched was a book club selection, and the blurb definitely hooked me. Bewitched has an interesting premise: Selene is a young witch who constantly loses her memories due to her magic use and she inadvertently awakens a long-asleep warlock…who thinks she is his soulmate from long ago. It’s definitely a bit of […]
Queen B’s Decree: Red String Theory just made me so happy while reading. The premise is one of my favorite things…soulmates. How could I not be happy?? Rooney, our FMC, is an artist that has based her entire art identity about the red string theory: a theory that each person has a red string attaching […]
Queen B’s Decree: It’s no surprise that I love Tessa Bailey’s books, and I really love Christmas-themed Tessa Bailey books. Wreck the Halls has reverse Parent Trap vibes, with Beat and Melody working to get their mothers to get the band back together. Wreck the Halls had a seriously unrealistic romance. But I don’t care. […]
