Queen B’s Decree: I love a murder mystery, especially one that keeps me guessing.
Not a Word starts immediately off with discovering a M U R D E R and then we are trickle truthed the clues, going back and forth between the past to give more relevance. As a healthcare professional, this book hit a little close to home. The fake Perdue company creating the opioid crisis was so real. I had no doubts that something like these events could have happened in real life.
I never guessed where this was going, and after the slower start, I was hooked and needed to keep reading to figure it all out.
Also, I just want to say thank you to my parents…just for you know, not being characters in a murder thriller.
