Queen B’s Decree: Mantras & Minotaurs was my favorite of the series when it was first released as indie. And upon reread of the expanded edition, it remains my favorite.
I love that our main characters (Pam and Alistair) are older and are meeting later in life, looking for something they missed during their previous marriages. There’s understanding, and caring, and whoa boy, plenty of steam.
The expanded story really adds to the romance. Pam and Alistair have more time to deepen their relationship, and there are instances where they both show up to support the other and it’s just so comforting.
Just like my original review, no criticisms, will always love this series!
