Queen B’s Decree: There has only been twice in my life that my enjoyment of the story has outweighed my ick of clowns. The Dare was the second time. Side note: thanks ma, for letting me watch IT when I was a kid, created a lifelong fear of clowns.
So while I learned that I’m sort of okay with clowns (rarely!!), I also learned that some kinks are just not personally for me. Definitely check out the trigger warnings before you start on this one!
I loved Manson. He felt like the king of consent, always checking in with Jessica and making sure she was okay with everything going on. It made it all seem like a more comfortable story, knowing that as “dark” as it was, it was a green light kind of dark.
And I’m intrigued enough to want to read the Losers duet!
