Queen B’s Decree: This is a bit of a two for one review, so I’ll differentiate.

Caught Up: This was a DNF for me, mostly because I just wasn’t super interested in the characters. And not sure what this says about me, but having the FMC be a sex worker just wasn’t for me. There was a scene at a sex club that seemed to go on and on and on (and the main characters weren’t even having spicy times!) and I realized it was time to move on, so I jumped right into Game On. Sorry Teddy, even listening wasn’t enough to hook me.
Game On: Now Game On hooked me. I could just tell that Tyler, our MMC, was gonna be great at grovel. He just had the air of a mediocre white man that knew he was right (so that means I KNEW he was gonna be wrong). Gah, I love seeing a man recognize who badly he has fucked up.
And the hate-to-lovers was done so well. So much forced proximity between Tyler and Stella, their chemistry was fire but their bickering and fighting was supreme. I enjoyed their back and forth so much, definitely the king and queen of one-liners and insults.
There is one part that didn’t really seem to fit for me towards the end, it honestly didn’t match everything that had happened up until that point and felt like a weird “oh let me throw in this other random kink/sexual preference just for funsies” without it working, so that took away a bit from my enjoyment. But thankfully James Cassidy exists on this planet because there is not much that will ruin his performance.
