Queen B’s Decree: I love a fake dating trope, and when the FMC is in the medical field (and the information is accurate????), I’m all in.
I think what I enjoyed the most in this book was the accuracy in Isa’s parents’ expectations. As the eldest daughter, I resonated with Isa’s struggles to be the best she could be and wanting to prioritize her career over a relationship. And how women are STILL treated in the medical profession was so real (and sad).
Austin was a great character too. Despite how their relationship started out as fake, he was so supportive from the get go. In fact, there were times I wanted to yell at Isa “just love the man!!!”, he deserved everything.
Lastly, the audio narration was done well and kept me listening, I had a hard time putting it down!
