Queen B’s Decree: Welllllll I read this book entirely within one day. I could not stop reading.
Belle is such a great character. She knows that Cal is being a jerk to her and that makes her even more determined to stick it out and stay. Maybe it’s because I’m also stubborn, but I can’t help but admire Belle for her fortitude. Also side note, the relationship she has with her grandmother’s rooster is maybe the best thing I’ve ever seen.
Cal is so grumpy but only because he’s scared. A man (minotaur, technically) thinking he’s about to lose the only place he’s felt at home, I’d be defensive too!
I loved the slow burn. There was so much tension, that once the spice kicked in, it was like a satisfying gift. A minotaur-themed toy…where did Belle shop? Asking for a friend.
And best of all….this is a series so we’re gonna get more hot minotaur cowboys and I am in.
