Queen B’s Decree: There is something about the Ernest Cunningham series that I can’t resist.
Everyone in this Bank is a Thief is told through Ernest’s point-of-view, kind of as if he was writing a journal. Everything has already happened, but he drops enough little clues to keep you involved in finding out the full story. One thing I love about this series that while I sometimes have theories and figure out some of the answers, I never guess the full unfolding.
This is the first one I read as an audio book instead of using my old-fashioned eye balls, but I’ll never not listen again. The narration is my new favorite way to read this series. Barton Welch really embodied Ernest’s self-deprecating and hilarious attitude, and bonus—Australian accent!
I hope Ernest keeps solving murders forever so I have an unlimited supply of books to listen to.
