Queen B’s Decree: These novellas were just such a fun time.
Margo’s story was the quicker of the two, but it definitely helped that Margo and Henry already had a backstory. And a brother’s best friend trope always hits when one of the characters is oblivious to their being adored. But once Margo is clued into Henry’s full on obsession, it doesn’t taker her long to jump in with both feet.
Matilda’s story was a bit more complex, as it was tied in with Margo’s. But my god, can you resist a man like Ashford? I know I wouldn’t be able to. Such tension, such spice, and how these two fall for each other? Chef’s kiss.
I can always trust Alexandra Vasti for a good time and The Halifax Hellions doesn’t disappoint.
