Queen B’s Decree: Legend is the completion of the story that began with Hollow, a story of Ichabod Crane, the headless horseman, and witch Katrina Von Tassel.
We already knew that they all were becoming a poly throuple, but they have to figure out how to save Brom (aka the man possessed by the headless horseman) so they can have their happily ever after. And they are stuck in a creepy dark academy, not knowing who they can trust.
I was let down a bit by the romance. This book felt like the Ichabod and Brom show, and while I like my smut, this was ridiculous. It felt like Kat was the third wheel in their relationship, which was not the vibe from Hollow. I like a throuple where it feels like they all actually fit together…but this one just had Brom getting plowed. The ratio of plot to smut was off, and I actually wanted a better paced storyline and resolution to the mystery and action.
Overall, Legend was not as enjoyable as Hollow, unfortunately.
