Queen B’s Decree: I’m usually all in on a fake relationship situation, and the reality TV setting just made it even more interesting.
Zinnia wants to get married. Not fall in love. Just get married. And she finds Jordan, the “estranged” son of a famous family with their own reality TV show, needing a fake wife for the show. Poof! A match made in Heaven.
I liked Zinnia. She knows who she is, what she wants, and has the most supportive friends and family you could ever meet. The relationship she has with her two best friends was the star of the story.
I struggled with Jordan and his family, unfortunately. His family were essentially bullies to Zinnia and Jordan was strangely okay with it? He never really created or enforced boundaries, just let them be mean and rude and manipulate the situation constantly. And somehow Zinnia is apologizing to him? Nah.
I don’t think I realized how annoyed I was at Jordan’s family until now. Despite that, I still enjoyed this one and had a fun time. I’d definitely read more from this author.
