Queen B’s Decree: I always love revisiting Kentucky and Silver Pines Ranch.

Cassie is Ivy’s little sister (from book two!) and she’s a songwriter-slash-performer and she spends one night with ranch manager Haden before diving back into a grueling tour schedule. And Haden is mad she ghosts him—although, I can’t really blame him. It’s not until Cassie is back at the ranch to emotionally heal that they both have to face the feelings that have been there since day one.
Freeing the Wild was such a wonderful mix of emotional growth, healing, spiciness and tension, and family.
I want to say I loved both characters equally, but Haden does slightly win me over more. He’s just so solid and comfortable. Like I know, that no matter what, he’ll be there to support Cassie and help her fly.
I’ve got an inkling (also it’s my amazing powers of deduction) who the next book will be and I can’t wait.
