Read. Reign. Repeat.

Her Vicious Beasts & Her Feral Beasts by EP Bali

Queen B’s Decree: I listened to the prequel and immediately started the first book, so I plan to review them together.

This story had promise. Aurelia has an inner animal (aka her Animus), and has been foretold to have five different mates; but she doesn’t have the same Animus as her evil father so she’s basically banished without actually getting kicked out. She’s forced into healing some prisoners by her evil dad, and ends up meeting a few of her mates.

What I didn’t love is that basically her Animus makes her just a horny mess, definitely some body betrayal syndrome going on. And then her father frames her for something terrible, and despite her mates recognizing her father is evil…they just believe him? And instead of fighting back, Aurelia runs away and is caught really easily.

I just didn’t understand why her mates had to hate her, it didn’t make a lot of sense. The incongruities just made me lose interest and I ended up not continuing Her Feral Beasts.
