Queen B’s Decree: I was so excited when I first saw the cover. I mean, a sapphic demon/devil story? Sign me up.
Sadly, this one missed the mark. I didn’t really love that Samantha basically sold her soul just for wishes to get her ex-girlfriend back (have some self-respect, bae), and how that kind of led to a weird love triangle feel.
And I think this one was trying for quirky and kooky, but it fell flat for me.
But you know what, next release I’ll still be there giving her books a try—I have faith that Alexandria Bellefleur will stay an author with amazing books I’ll love. Just not this one.
