Queen B’s Decree: You know, when I realized Practice Makes Perfect was a “virgin FMC who is down bad for the MMC” trope, I got a little worried. I mean, the first time we re-meet Will is when he’s on a date with another woman—that’s not what I’m here for. But fear not, gentle reader, because despite his claims to the contrary, Will is just as down bad for Annie as she is for him.
After a terrible date, in a long story kind of way, Will starts teaching Annie how to flirt; basically dating lessons. But you can guess how it goes (wink wink).
With typical Sarah Adams fashion, this story was filled with humor, small town charm, amazing side characters, and so much emotional depth that I nearly cried in the car on my way to work while listening. Will Peters and Jorjeana Marie really embodied the characters and gave them such depth.
Just wholesome, heartwarming, and feeling like a hug. I can’t believe I waited this long to read this series and I can’t wait for my reread of Emily’s book!
