The Fang Arrangment by Sarah Blue

Queen B’s Decree: The Fang Arrangement made me want to watch True Blood all over again and once again, I wish Sookie had ended up with Erik Northman.

I had such a fun time with this one. Warin is the overprotective vampire who basically stalks and watches over his soulmate since the moment he meets her. And Ember is the witch who feels like she doesn’t quite fit in with her coven…and has a crazy vampire fantasy that she keeps wrapped up tight. I think I loved best how much both characters grew. Ember grew into her powers and gained confidence in herself, and Warin learned a little more about partnership and trust.

This is a bit of a slow burn, but it felt like an appropriate time line for the two. There was enough tension to keep me on the edge and wanting more.

But what I died for? Ember’s fat and sassy familiar: a grumpy, constantly eating snacks raccoon. When I read this, I literally left comments for Sarah “why didn’t you tell me you put me in the book?” Gus is both funny and sweet and his point-of-view chapters were some of my favorites.

We get a sneak peek of what’s to come in book three and I can’t wait.
