Chasing Forever by Piper Rayne

Queen B’s Decree: Chasing Forever was a book that made me glad to be anonymous in my big city. Everyone knows everyone else’s business in Brooks’ and Lottie’s home town.

I love the “woke up after a night in Vegas and oops we’re married” trope and I especially love it when one of the newly married members wants to stay married. Brooks has been down bad for Lottie basically his whole life and when life handed him this opportunity, he absolutely did not waste it.

Lottie has been hurt in the past (by Brooks’ brother and parents, how messy) so I can totally understand her apprehension and hesitance. And when they have a slight ripple with what I would consider a third act breakup, Brooks just jumps in and communicates and fixes it. My kind of man for sure.

Also I don’t know what it is about Stephen Dexter’s voice, but he always transports me into a small town and makes me wish I had some cowboy boots on while listening.

Overall, a cute and fun story with some surprising depth.
