Queen B’s Decree: Well this one just really worked for me.
It’s definitely a little dark, so be sure to check out those trigger warnings. But Adam West was my kind of morally gray. Obsessive, intense, controlling, but still kind of softly adoring? He’s the very embodiment of the ‘touch her and ☠️’ trope and y’all know there’s just something about a fictional stalker that I can’t resist.
And Jessica is kind of his sunshine. She’s legitimately a sweet and kindhearted human and I just want all the good things for her. I loved watching her grow and show off her newly polished spiny shine; it’s like once West cared for her, she learned to really care for herself.
Deeply Examined had fantastic spicy scenes, with good character development, and just the right amount of darkness. Loved this one and would totally read it all over again.
