I like that she doesn’t avoid the elephant in the room. And yes, I know there is a bit of a taboo, since Darwin has known her since she was an infant. But they’ve been apart for nine years, so it’s almost like strangers beginning a relationship.
And the steam? It’s five stars, steaming hot. I never thought a laser tag arena would be so sexy but dang, sign me up for a new kink. I’ve already gone back to search out the author’s back list because this kind of romance is my jam.
