Read. Reign. Repeat.

Slaughterhouse-Five by Kurt Vonnegut

Queen B’s Decree: I’ve owned Slaughterhouse-Five…a very long time. Unread, of course. So I decided to put it on my 23 books in 2023 list, as an attempt to make myself read my physical TBR.

And everyone…I did.

I loved the prose and the way the words flowed in Slaughterhouse-Five. But I still don’t know wtf really happened. Is Billy Pilgrim suffering from PTSD? Was he really a time traveler? Will I ever really know the truth?

But I love the sentiment of the Tralfamadorians. They see life in four dimensions, including time. It’s kind of heartwarming to think that yes, person A may be dead in this time, but is still alive in another.

Overall, Slaughterhouse-Five was an interesting novel that I’m glad I finally got around to reading.
