Kiss My Giraffe by Erin Nicholas

Queen B’s Decree: I have a confession to make. There was a moment where I doubted Erin Nicholas. A moment where I thought “not really sure I like this Knox guy.” How could I have doubted her??

Kiss My Giraffe was wonderful. While it was still extremely steamy, it felt more like a slow burn. I appreciated that Fiona and Knox took the time to really communicate and reveal their insecurities, flaws, and apprehensions. There’s nothing I love more than a couple that feels real.

Knox was the perfect grumpy Hero. You knew that he’d be a marshmallow for those he loved once he began to let down his walls. He was protective and loving and just always so in—no matter what Fiona was passionate about, he wanted to support her in all ways. And Fiona needed someone like that since she’s spent so much of her life taking care of others, whether they be animals or people.

I spy a future spin-off in our future upon meeting Fiona’s brothers and I honestly can’t wait.

Overall, Kiss My Giraffe was a fantastic addition to the Bayou world and it really just showcases how family isn’t always blood.
