Shifting Fate Box Set by Tessa Hale

Queen B’s Decree: Since this is a box set, I’ll include my review for all the books separately.

Spark of Fate: 5/5
Spark of Fate was a great start to a new series. While there are a lot of main characters, I felt like each character has their own individuality and stands out from the others without utilizing major tropes or stereotypes.

Rowan is also a great Heroine. She’s adaptive and I love reading about her emotional growth. The best kind of badass characters are the ones that start out not understanding what’s going on, but they adapt and grow and keep fighting.

The cliffhanger killed me. How can I go on without more??

Mark of Stars: 5/5
I was so impatient to start Mark of Stars after devouring the first in the series, Spark of Fate. The characters here are so relatable (except for the werewolf-y magic bits!) that you can’t help but be consumed and enthralled.

Rowan is my favorite kind of heroine. She’s strong and resilient without being too over-the-top badass or unrealistic. Each of her bandmates has their own personality and quirks, and throughout the story I’m happy to see we get equal time with all of them. Rowan is learning how to handle this untraditional relationship with patience and grace and each bonding moment with her boys is endearing.

I loved the addition of the council and the mystery that surrounds them. Mark of Stars was well paced with an interesting story progression. The characterizations were just as great as in Spark of Fate and the interactions between all the characters is what continues to keep my interest.

The cliffhanger ending just cemented my need for more Tessa Hale and I am on the edge of my seat as I wait!

Bond of Destiny: 5/5
Alright. Well. This series was a whirlwind and I just…am not ready for it to be over.

I don’t know exactly what it is, but the Shifting Fate series really just does it for me. It’s got so many things I love!

-fated mates
-reverse harem
-werewolves
-great action
-strong heroine

I do love a good list so I could keep going, but that’s not what you’re here for. What made Bond of Destiny (and the rest of the series) so great was that it was planned out so well. The pacing and flow was on pointe, the chemistry was fire, and the character growth was exactly what you want. We got to know each member of the bond so well, I was sad to see them go by the end.

Tessa Hale is a relatively new to me author, but I won’t be forgetting her anytime soon.

Box set Epilogue:
How adorable?! I loved seeing a glimpse into Rowan’s and her bonded’s future. Love this series!
