Queen B’s Decree: I had such a fun time with this one.
Leo and Portia are such opposites. Leo is the duke that feels like he wasn’t prepared to take over his father’s role, and compensates by doing everything he can to make sure his sisters survive society life. And Portia is a rebel, forced to work for this thing called money, while writing seditious articles for a small, struggling newspaper.
Like the other book I’ve read in this series, it was funny, full of banter and ridiculous side characters. But also emotional and sweet and I quickly came to love both Leo and Portia and root for their happily ever after.
I’m hooked and I’ll be absolutely reading the next in the series.
