Queen B’s Decree: I honestly binge read this book in a day, I could not put it down.
There is just something I can’t resist about an underestimated main character. Poppy has been constantly misunderstood by her family so she teams up with Jack when he gets fired from her father’s restaurant…kind of in a stick it to them way. And boy…grump meet sunshine.
Yes, Chef is a story about finding yourself and your strength, dealing with grief, and discovering who your people are.
I loved the interactions between Poppy and Jack. The chemistry, the banter, the push and the pull. Somehow, despite Jack being a jerk for a chunk of the book, I still couldn’t get enough of him. Both him and Poppy are such complex characters, I needed more.
I loved the ending and the resolution and it really satisfied my need for completeness. I’ll absolutely be wanting more from Grace, heard!!
