Queen B’s Decree: I first read this in 2021, when it was an indie release. But reading this time around, I realize I have remembered literally nothing about this book. It all felt new—which I guess I can spin as a good thing? Con: my memory is shit. Pro: hey new book experience.
Reclaimed starts immediately where Rejected left off, with Mera exploding with magic. And the story just follows her and Shadow going into the alternate world, full of action (and plenty of spicy scenes too). Rejected was just a slow burn, edging me the whole book and FINALLY we get some actual spicy action. It was worth the wait.
No spoilers, but the cliffhanger ending was just wild. It was the only thing that finally sparked my memory and now I remember the feeling of utter dread at having to wait for the next book to be written. Bonus for reading a re-release…I already have book three so I can dive right in. Because I have NO IDEA how Jaymin is gonna fix this.
