Queen B’s Decree: The Wolf King definitely scratched my “I’m in a werewolf mood” itch. Also did I mention the MMC has a Scottish accent in the audiobook? Chef’s kiss.
Callum is the kind of MMC you can’t help but love. Yes, he may kidnap Aurora (the fact that I’m typing this with a straight face shows what kind of books I’ve been reading), but he’s such a simp for her, truly. He may make mistakes, but who doesn’t? You can just feel how much he comes to care for her and want to protect her.
And I loved Aurora, she’s thrown into an enemy stronghold but doesn’t cower—sometimes to her detriment. But I’m a strong-willed brat too, so I loved it.
I’m not sure how I feel about Blake. Are we gearing up for a love triangle? A why choose situation? Why am I kind of in love with him?
I’m on board for book two (absolutely need to listen to it on audio) and I can’t wait.
