Queen B’s Decree: A serial killer who turns himself in just so he can interact with the forensic profiler? Oh me, just someone who has watched every episode of Forensic Files? Yeah…I’m in.
I listened to Depraved Devotion on audio and I was hooked. Geneva is a psychiatrist/profiler and the serial killer, Ghost, is definitely obsessed with her a bit. I loved their interactions; how Geneva finds herself torn between duty and desire, and how determined Ghost is to protect Geneva. The push and pull between them, the spice, it all creates such great tension.
The pacing, the narration, it was all very entertaining and wow, I was not expecting the cliffhanger. I’ll absolutely be looking out for book two!
