Queen B’s Decree: Umm, dark monster romance with a holiday theme? Obviously, I’m in.
Ada is a virtual assistant, living like a hermit and dealing with PTSD after a mugging. She’s constantly having nightmares about a masked man, there to hurt her. It’s just…the masked man is Seth, the dreamer, who is sick of being the bad guy. So he thinks by bringing her some Christmas cheer, her dreams will be happy again?
Just go with it.
Seth is simultaneously a golden retriever and a masked scary stalker monster man. He’s so obsessed with Ada, and has such good intentions, you can’t help but love him. And Ada is struggling so much, you just want her to get all the help she needs.
Be sure to check the trigger warnings before diving in—this is definitely darker than you’d expect from these cozy authors, but it was deliciously done.
