Queen B’s Decree: Coronation really hit the spot.
I loved the premise. A grumpy king of a small European country and a young nepo baby actress meet at an orgy house party and both instantly fall…hard. But politics and media and blah blah blah keep them apart.
The spice was done so well here, but there was plenty of emotional depth. Ben has a very stone-faced and grumpy facade, but it hides his soft heart, that keeps hoping for love. And Zelda wears her heart on her sleeve, unable to stop herself for falling for the grump.
I just thoroughly enjoyed this one. So many good tropes: age gap, forbidden, royalty, instalove, accidental pregnancy. I binged the book in one day and I’m hoping we get more in this universe.
